The "Annie P" is a 1973 23' SeaCraft that was redone in the winter of '07-'08. The work done includes
building a custom "doghouse" for the console, enclosing the transom, installing a Stainless Marine engine
bracket, repowering with a 2008 Suzuki 250 hp 4-stroke engine and adding state of the art Raymarine
electronics.
The custom doghouse provides a shelter from the wind and spray that are commonly found in the waters
surrounding the Elizabeth Islands and Marthas Vineyard providing a dry and comfortable ride to and from
the fishing grounds. Enclosing the transom and adding the engine bracket makes the boat safer and drier by
eliminating the engine well that can sometimes allow water to splash in over the transom. It also allows the
fisherman to easily fish around the back of the boat with a comfortable surface to lean against when fighting
big fish. The engine bracket also puts the motor almost three feet further back and extends the overall
length of the boat enhancing the already legendary ride of this Classic SeaCraft. The Suzuki 250hp 4-stroke
engine is the perfect complement to this boat, providing a fast, economical and quiet ride to and from the
fishing grounds.
